On 2 March, the German-Barazilian Energy Partnership organised a workshop on “Combined Wind and Solar Auctions''. The focus was on exchanging experiences with regard to the most important decisions in designing an auction for combined wind and solar power plants. Speakers were, among others, Mr. Shailesh Kumar Mishra, Director (Ps) at Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) who elaborated on the original motivation and situation of combined auctions in India and how the sector has developed since then.
