The webinar by TERI on 16^th December 2020 brought together international experts from various sectors to discuss the potential role of hydrogen in India. Falling costs for green hydrogen, the increasing international demand as well as the strengthening of policies globally have started an international hype for hydrogen. It is estimated that the demand for hydrogen can grow fivefold by 2050 (as compared to 2020). From 2030, green hydrogen would be able to compete with fossil fuel-based hydrogen. IGEF-SO supported the event by involving German companies.
