7th Indo-German Energy Day at the 2nd REI E-Expo

This year the 7th Indo-German Energy Day took place virtually at the digital halls of the 2nd Renewable Energy India E-Expo.

The fair was among others opened by Mrs. Ursula Borak, Deputy Director-General, Ministry for Economic Affairs & Energy, Government of Germany.
In cooperation with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, the IGEF-SO organized a joint German Booth at which more than 35 German companies and associations were represented.
The virtual fair focused on renewable energy technologies and served as a platform for stakeholders to establish contacts and exchange knowledge. More than 1140 participants visited the joint booth and had the opportunity to inform themselves about PV niche markets and AgroPV.
In addition, the IGEF-SO organized a virtual conference on the topic "PV Rooftop & Storage", which was opened by Dr. Nicole Glanemann,Ministry for Economic Affairs & Energy, Government of Germany.  About 234 participants attended the IGEF-SO event and listened to

  • Tobias Winter, IGEF-SO, on "Worldwide Market Developments of Behind the Meter PV & Storage Systems"
  • Vinay Rustagi, Bridge to India, on "PV Rooftop and Storage in the Industrial Sector"
  • Joerg Gaebler, GIZ India, on "A Face for India: Implementing Stand-Alone PV Systems all over India"
