IGEF welcomes the new electrical storage company Fluence to India.

Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF-SO) welcomes the new electrical storage company Fluence to India. Fluence is a 50-50 joint venture of Siemens and AES Company and has just started its operations in India with a globally established client base in over 160 countries. Both the companies merged their energy storage departments in order to cater to the world’s largest storage projects. As per Bloomberg New Energy Finance, the market for energy storage is to reach US$ 100 billion by 2030. Fluence was presented at the 5th International Conference & Exhibition, Energy Storage India held from 10 to 12 January 2018 in New Delhi. Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf India, Customized Energy Solutions and powered by India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), ESI 2018 was supported by Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF-SO).

Echoing the theme of “Implementing the Energy Storage Mission”, Energy Storage India concluded following three absorbing days of collaborations, networking and of sharing best practices. Held from April 10th to 12th January 2018 at India Habitat Centre, Energy Storage India attracted more than 1000+ industry experts, 100+ speakers, 50+ exhibitors and partners participating from over 25 countries. ESI 2018 once again gave a solid push to the growth of Energy Storage sector!

Save the Date: Energy Storage India 2019 will be held from 22 to 23 January 2019 at The Ashok, New Delhi. The theme of the next edition will focus on Implementing National Energy Storage Mission.
